When do you lightsaber animations improve? [spoilers]

Now, I've heard--and seen--the attack animations improve on my character. For instance, the animations at the beginning of the game were more akin to a baseball bat than a sword. Now they seem a lot better.

 

However,

when I fought Visa and also Vrook, they appeared to use smoother lightsaber techniques that were rather alluring and full of grace and finesse.

Meanwhile, my character (level 14), uses the KOTOR animations (a vast improvement from the unexperience bat version, of course).

 

Does anyone know when they change into the more graceful animations?
