toms
Ward said the company's strategy was to create "original Star Wars games like a new real-time strategy PC game that Petroglyph is developing for next year. This game will take the genre in a new direction and will balance gameplay between the hardcore gamers who buy these games and the broader audience that's familiar with the Star Wars brand." So their idea of an "original" game is to copy Battle 4 middle earth and release ANOTHER rts clone? They have already released Age of Empires, Battlefield 1942, everquest and numerous other clones (plus ghost recon one coming up). Not only that, but to doumb them down as well. God, whatever happened to the lucasarts that used to produce daring, original and all time classic titles?
