I'm making a short post. -------------- RFP is more of a drain than default-XWA because no Low-Detail Models. IFP and ITP are about the same as default-XWA because they do have LODs. Cockpits are more of a drain (especially in virtual-cockpit view) because they are more detailed. I use them, my PC is comparable to yours, they work fine. I could do "oh my God!" detail level with just one RFP ship (but not the Y-wing) Once i got a VooDoo 4 PCI. It was smooth sailing.. even with a Squadron of RFP ships flying around.
