BlitzWolf
I would asume that if you just download the official patches lucas arts released, they would still work the same for your single player copy as it would for the full copy.

clonearcman
I went on Ebay to get a cheap copy of Battlefront and it turns out it was Russian. The guy that sent it said it was a single player version. I gave it to my bro and he and I played together not to long ago. It was a direct connection tho so I don't know if that makes a difference. Guest Jed
Hey, that's nice to know. People, don't try buying a copy that's "single player only". Most likely, you'll be disappointed for one reason or another.
Jedi Anikan
Multi is the way to go.. The single player was A... not in english.. well it was but the install wasnt and it was such a pain in the ass to get it to change to english... Go multi or go home... -Chris
MaximumMayhem
I tried to fire up GameSpy Arcade this very second and nudda.. I get to the screen where it asks for Profile and Password and there is no Profile in the drop down menu even though the GS system recognises it. Does GS pay off game companies to include sh*tty 3rd party software or is it simply too lazy to make its own browser client? EDIT: After much messing around, I finally got GS to work. Review in 20 minutes.
MaximumMayhem
Unbelievable. I fully endorse the closed networking test after playing making this my first Battlefront multiplayer experience. Not much of an experience though. I can honestly say that playing UT 2004 on 56k gave me smoother results. Its a wonder Pandemic didnt tackle this issue sooner as I found Battlefront to be barely playable online. LAN and Single Player are a dream (ofcourse).
