Drazin
In KotOR we play as Revan and the Exile. We could learn a number of things from the journey. First, we learn Betrayel. We were betrayed by those closest to us. By those we trusted or loved. Our emotions betrayed us as well. Perhaps we even betrayed ourselves along the way. It seemed as though everyone wanted something from us, only to further their own goals and agendas. Second, we learn Redemption. If you stayed on the path of Light, you learned that no matter how far you have fallen, you can be redeemed and serve the light once again. Third, we learn Trust. Trust is not an easy thing to get, but the easiest thing to lose. Those closest to you learn this the most however, as they have placed their lives in your hands. You learned that your trust is not to be given lightly, as it can be taken advantage of quickly. Fourth,we learned Perseverance. No matter how bad things get, it is instilled in the human mind to press on. To push forward and never give up may cause more hardship along the way, but eventually you can succeed. It is the defining aspect of our lives, to take the worst, to know the pain ahead, yet still go on. Fifth, we learn Retribution. Against those who have done wrong to us, those who sought to harm us we found our revenge. The vengeful mind is one that leads to the darkside, but by staying on the path of light you may receive your retribution through honor and self-sacrifice. What have we yet to learn? What else have you learned along the way?

Derc
We learn Life from Revan. We learn Death from the Exile. And we also learn that badass Sith Lords can be pushovers... How's that?

Feagildin
LoL, I'm liking this topic, somebody keep it moving. (I'd give some insight of my own, but I haven't beaten the game yet.)
SuperSquall
Well you're basically talking about themes of the game, eh Drazin? I think by far the biggest one of the two games thus far has been redemption (if you're a light sider anyway). Revan and the Exile both have tremendous stories of redeeming themselves. As far as stuff you haven't mentioned: Sacrifice: Both Revan and the Exile, in the end, had to give up everything they held dear so they could do what needed to be done against the true Sith. They had to leave everything and face it alone.
Lord_Malak
It teaches us about choices. That EVERY choice has a consequence to those around you. I'm starting to think about how I can gain influence with others, and whether my choices are light or dark in the real world.....
