modman
I put swosh's dh88 gun file, and the custom lightsaber pack files into my overide folder but they dont work, is .ram the correct format or am i doing something wrong?
Mono_Giganto
The only extensions files should be in for those mods are: uti (Item File) tga (Textures) txi (Svosh loves his Shaders) mdl (Model File) mdx (Model File) That should be it, but it's been a while since I've modded so I may have left one out, but there definitely isn't a .ram extension. General Kenobi
I have had similar probs getting mods to work myself. One I had major touble with was any game I started with the "droid container" in with HK screwed up the game. It would operate like a normal game till the first time you board the Hawk. After I kill the sith troopers with the hawk's turret gun and go back to the actual scene where I find them and kill them on the hawk, it loads some really screwy version of the hawk where everything looks "older" than normal, no characters on board, and even though it tells you you have X number of sith on board you find no one....YOUR STUCK. From what I see so far this KOTOR is going to be very hard to mod or edit much. On the plus side for this KOTOR.....now you can look out the window in the beginning and see yourself traveling in hyperspace. Realism is always good. To bad they didn't think of making the hawk fillable with fuel. If you had to stop in the middle of hyperspace to exit out and fill up at the local space station...thats realism. Achilles
^^^^ Indeed it is. However how do you think that would play out? Writer's have to think about plot, tension, pace, etc. Adding a "local refueling station stop" to a "uncover the mystery, save/destroy the galaxy" story seems pretty anti-climatic. General Kenobi
True, True "I'm on my way to kill the Sith Witch now Visas. Ooh crap I'm out of fuel." --Fade off to the hawk drifting....lol I do think this KOTOR is far more realistic. Like on the Hawk. Now I "feel" like I'm on a ship instead of playing a flying map. All the little stuff they did really made this KOTOR. I also love it that T3 moves about repairing things & to me thats what makes the game more realistic...
