Vlad Handar Posted November 27, 2001 Posted November 27, 2001 I remember that file. it should be a text file, well you have to copy that to the XWA install folder. there is aready a textfile with the same name there and just replace it with the file hack.. It cannot be more easier.
K_Kinnison Posted November 27, 2001 Posted November 27, 2001 that "hack" only works for version 1.01 and earlier otherwise you msut use an editor like BinHexEdit, or MXvTED that is found on Darksabers site. Remember, editors only owrk for your version of the game, and hacks wil cause the game to crash if you play online

Nob Akimoto Posted December 4, 2001 Posted December 4, 2001 Easiest way to do this. Get a text file editor like EditPad that'll let you search and replace. Look for the words "NonFlyable" and replace with "Flyable" in shiplist.txt The thing to keep in mind is that you need to capitalise the F, it's case sensitive.
Guest RogueOne Posted December 28, 2001 Posted December 28, 2001 Yeah, you do not need any file hack, all you have to do is edit the .txt file like Nob Akimoto said. I did that and it works perfectly. It is real fun to play as an SSD and take up 12 km of space. hehe.
K_Kinnison Posted December 28, 2001 Posted December 28, 2001 jsut FYI, the XWA version of the SSD only is 8km long, in the movie it is 16+ Km long I jsut enjoy having 6 Star Destoyers in formation trying to blow my A$$ out of space
