Rook&Pawn Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Ok, I haven't had the game even a week yet and have found the "influence" feature to be somewhat intriguing. I haven't yet made my mind up whether it is fun or annoying, but it truly is "something". I'm playing DS, though I don't want to be mean to everyone in my party. I'm trying to avoid LS points if at all possible which so far has been not too hard, but I thought I would share a screen shot.... ??? this is strange

nas77 Posted March 4, 2005 Posted March 4, 2005 Happens to me as well. All it is, is that in the space of one conversation you've been mean and you've been nice to Bao-Dur. Net result is no influence gained or lost.
Rook&Pawn Posted March 4, 2005 Author Posted March 4, 2005 I've heard it on this forum before... if you want to be DS, you have to be mean to everyone and vice versa for LS. There are some I want to be mean to and some I don't, though I guess influence only matters to turn them to LS or DS, it's not like they will run away from battles or talk smack about you behind your back...
