The bonds vary but commonly they allow both to feel each other's thoughts or actions across distances. On a field of battle, the two could work tactically with each other without any other form of communication. The force bonds in K2 are different however. The Exile's ability to form these bonds is above and beyond any the Jedi have seen before, and through the bonds he forms he draws power from their abilities.
