Well, I really(I mean, REALLY) liked that cross on the back of the robe. It's like a Templar Robe or something, pretty cool. But oh well. If you did that great of a job with the cross, who knows what else can you do to improve those robes?! Keep up the good work man!
Arlen Treesong
I don't know how far you want to go with this but I'm figuring at the rate your going and seeing how everyone has different tastes a suggestion of mine would be to go with what you decide ie: More white Jedi robe then a darker sith robe concentrating on the tribal designs, then to take it one step further, include the cross for the jedi series and design two more, then you can tie that in to a master/watchmen/weaponmaster, the same with the sith. Next thing you know you have 6 awesome looking robes with designs that correspond to the prestige classes. The cross could definately be associated with the Jedi Consular/Master etc etc.
Harker
Originally posted by ChAiNz.2da @Harker I believe if to apply the alpha to the underside of the robe (on the skin .tga) and not the actual back of the robe, the alpha shouldn't affect the legs. Finding it on the UVmap is going to be the harder part.. as I'm sure your quite aware of (I've seen your great work as well ) Yeah... I can't seem to figure it out. It has to be right in front of me, but I can't quite get it. Any chance youd release a PSD file with this robe ChuckX8oD so I can see exactly how you are working the Alphas? This is exactly what I wanted to do with my tattered robe, but couldn't figure out how too stop it from clipping through the legs (thus I scaled back the tattered look.) Any tips would very much appreciated.
LuxDragon
Why don't you make a set of different robes then? Don't bother with the Sith/Jedi, Dark/Light thing. Just call it <Character Name> robes, put some attributes on it, and send it out? That way, everyone's happy. After all, apparently making the robes is the easy bit, putting into the game is the hard part. (At least to you.) Your robes look great and that's what counts; looking good while killing off a whole slew of people in your way.

General Kenobi
Originally posted by ChuckX8oD dunno, dunno, dunno, lol. as stated, still learning scripting and placeables. The graphic part, for me, was the easy part, hehe. i know how to create items, i just need to learn the rest. Exact same here man. The Photoshop stuff I could do while playing TSL on another computer but the rest ChAiNz helped me with one night. I put out Nomi SunRider's robe with his help. I couldn't get my texture to load on my "unique" ingame item, and the stats I didn't even think about till he told me where to change them. I couldn't imagine how easy it was to create a unique robe or mask with custom stats once he told me. Your idea was REALLY good I love the celtic feel. Really nice. I played with the robes to give them a X-MEN Sinister cape look but gave up. You rock man really nice. Star Wars Cantina MODS
