[TSL] WIP: Ulic Qel'Droma's Knight Robe from Tales of the Jedi

I'm trying to do a mod to add Ulic Qel'Droma's Jedi Knight Robes from the Tales of the Jedi comis into the game currently. So far I've modified the normal robes model a number of ways to make it more conducive to his appearance in Tales of the Jedi. I modified the apron part, modified the shoulders to create Ulic's shoulder pad/armor effect, and largely extended the hood as in Tales of the Jedi his hood was sometimes shown hanging almost halfway down his back.

 

Please note that I haven't even -started- the texture part yet, aside from playing around with the alpha channels a bit for the tattered effect, so obviously its still well in to the rough draft phase. I've just done some recoloring to get a better feel when working on modifying the model (which still isn't quite done yet either).

Also, please realize that if you have somewhat of a different picture of Ulic in mind, he changes appearance practically frame to frame in the comics, which I've been using as a reference, so its going to be impossible to integrate every little difference and all of that.

 

For those who have no idea who Ulic is, here is one pic of him, the ultra-detailed picture from the First Tales of the Jedi cover, which is also is somewhat varied with what is in the actual comic:

I like it, but hey I've never seen the comic before so I wouldn't exactly be the expert here

Nice! Although I would darken down the colouring a bit. when released, it will sit in my override folder

Very colorful... I agree with Dan that it needs to be darkened down a little.

 

The only things I have read about this period come from the WEG Tales of the Jedi RPG Sourcebook... and the characters were only briefly talked about, but that is how RPG Sourcebooks are, more about places and things to do.
