Clibby Posted March 25, 2005 Share Posted March 25, 2005 Is it possible to either a) Add planets/worlds from Kotor 1 to TSL such as Tatoonine? b)Is anyone making any new planets right now such as RedHawk's Ord Mandell mod? Mav Posted March 25, 2005 Share Posted March 25, 2005 a) the answer is a resounding NO, plain and simple it is illegal to port files from K1 to TSL. b) You could try to port it for your own personal use as in not releasing it for download, but it wouold be very hard, because most of the file types have been adjusted from K1 to TSL, plus .2da files a have changed rows meaning you would have to edit the .utc files and more, all in all a big pain Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Because the model format is different, and those levels don't exist in TSL, I'm of the mindset you are just going to crash your game if you try... I will likely attempt a new planet for TSL, but that will be a fair ways down the road, and it will not be ORD Mandell. I would do something new for TSL... well... as new as rearranged modules will permit. After Fred has brought KT up to speed on TSL, especially the dlg editor and the various ut* editors, I can start planning something out. On a brighter note, thanks to Darth333 and her whereami armband getting NPC orientation for modules should be a snap compared to K1. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
