How to create merchants?

Hello, wecome to the forums.

 

Your best bet is to try again, also try downloading a mod that does something similar and see what files the other mod uses, and what they did.

 

Is there a video tutorial I can see on how to do this?

Video? Sorry mate, we have only text ones... some have pictures though, but that is about it.

Alright. Thank you! This mod is for kotor 1 and 2 right? I am trying to use it for kotor 2. (i think thats what its for).....I really am having trouble with this. I got the basics, but it would just be easier for a more visual kind of studying for this. Maybe someone could talk to me about it?

Hey all, I've created a merchant and everything is fine, it loads the store correctly and all items are present but the one thing I'm having trouble with is when you buy or sell an item, in most stores you get a notice saying 'This item costs more than 250 credits, are you sure you wish to buy/sell it?' but in my store I get it saying 50 credits which means that most items have that notice coming up.

 

I've looked through some scripts and merchant files but I can't seem to find how you set or change this notice, if anyone has any ideas I would really appreciate it.

It's alright now, the problem was a dodgy game save, it was happening on all merchants
