Something intresting about NPC removal.

Appearently the script used in Ebon Hawk Cinematics actually checks if the npc is pressent. So if the person isn't important plotwise. (like kreia) a dialog where you could kill him/her would be possible.

I have at the moment tested this fact with

Visas: Handmaiden argues with Visas cutscene

Handmaiden: Handmaiden argues with Visas

Handmaiden: Atton needs to get something from the cargo hold.

All theese scenes work if the character isn't there.

This would allow for whole new mods where you could slaughter your companions and recruit new ones?

(don't know if this is already known if it is. then i obviously was too late out :-/ )

[Testing Atton atm]

Credits to Stoffe for helping me get that damn script right :-)

finished testing 2 cinematic scenes with Handmaiden.

The game is still clever enough to just skip them.

Next will be testing the Scene with Visas where she wants to look on you as male.

If you know how to read script code, check page 3 in the "Handmaiden for Female PC" topic on this forum. The code used for triggering the cutscenes on the Ebon Hawk is posted there. The trigger conditions for all those cutscenes are in the k_003ebo_enter script posted.

Removing NPCs from the game is probably more dangerous if they are part of the main plot, rather than the fairly optional flavor cutscenes on the Hawk. Removing Kreia for example would likely be a bad idea since she's so involved with the main plotline.

For example, the game might react badly if you have neither Visas nor Disciple in your party when you leave Dantooine after visiting the rebuilt Enclave. (The "Exile meditates alone in the dormitory" scene where Disciple or Visas comes in to check what's wrong with you when going back to Telos.)
