Do melee feats work with lightsabers?

 

Just seems a little odd that a Jedi Weapon Master has lots of extra specialisations that wouldn't work them.

There are 3 types of combat: Unarmed, Ranged, and Melee. All combat feats serve one of these types. I hope that helps.

The only melee feats that don't work with lightsabers are, of course, unharmed combat and finesse:melee weapons.

Wait a sec! There is a melee feat and a lightsaber feat. Are you guys saying that the bonuses of the melee feat applies to lightsabers?

I should think the melee feats account for all non-explosive, non-ranged and non-lightsaber weapons.

Per definition of melee, I agree with you BawBag. But is it a fact or a guess?

 

So theoretically a character with melee level one and lightsaber level one. Gets a +2 to attack with a lightsaber. Is this correct in the games? Both for KOTOR and TSL?

No, you don't get a lightsaber attack bonus for the melee only feats.
