I agree that in Texas the majority aren't bigots. I live there and I'm Mexican and the only thing that's happened was an old woman screaming at me and a friend for speaking in spanish. She screamed that this was 'America' and that we should speak English or come back where we came from. We said, 'Lady, look at a map, Mexico is also America, and the majority of America speaks spanish. So if anything YOU start speaking spanish or go back to Europe.' Then we left.
