DarkDefeater
I've never been a big fan of Handmaiden's underwear texture. The bra looks too tight, and the boots look goofy. I mean, come on, who wears boots while walking around in their underwear? Not to mention that the whole outfit looks like something from Victoria's secrets instead of "normal" underwear. IMHO, it's a silly attempt by the game designers to please some of the male players. I also found out from talking to other kotor II fans, that the outfit degrades the character. It transforms her from a character to just "a hot chick in sexy lingerie." So, while browsing through pcgamemods, I came across this. http://www.pcgamemods.com/12207/ IMHO, this would look a lot better, especially considering the color scheme (gray/white) matches with the Handmaiden perferctly, considering her white hair and clothing. Using photoshop, I tried reskinning her with this texture, but it didn't work because the texture was designed for another character model, the PC model, and not for handmaiden's model. So, is there anyway to make this texture work with the handmaiden's model, or am I gonna have to make another skin using photoshop? Any advice appreciated. Thx in advance for assistance. T7nowhere
You can replace her underware mesh(P_HandmaidenBA) with the PC one(PFBAM) and then rename the texture and add it to column texa in appearance.2da. Save the files to override and your done.
DarkDefeater
Odd. In Model A, I typed in PFBAM, the PC's model, but after I remove a robe or set of armor, the original model (It's obvious because of the boots) is still there, which messes up the texture. What is even stranger is that when I give her standard clothes and then remove them, she still appears in her standard clothes. Werid. I thought I all I needed to do was change the model by typing PFBAM in model A, and then place the desired texture in the override file. Am I missing something? The Handmaiden is a bit special in that she has three different lines in appearance.2da that the game switches between depending on her alignment and what she wears. Line 454 is used when she is wearing clothing and is good or neutral. This gives her the full body model with the white outfit with the hood. Line 638 is used when she is wearing something else than clothing. This is a normal body/head separated appearance that lets her wear anything a normal character can. Line 669 is used when she is wearing clothing but is evil/darkside. This gives her the full body model with the black outfit with the hood. DarkDefeater
Yep, that did it. I was not aware she possessed multiple lines. Thx for the assistance.
