Command3r
I just figured it out actually. yeah it has to be a TGA file in 24 bit.
Achilles
Err...actually it has to be 32 bit cuz of the alpha channel. Last I heard KotOR doesn't play nice with 24-bit targa's.
General Kenobi
Make sure you've kept the size of the file pixel height/width the same as the original you extracted. If you blow it up to something else make sure you take the size back down to something like 512x512 (anything even for the most part) Make sure you also do NOT have "hide known file extensions" turned on in your operating system. Some programs will have a nasty habit of interacting with windows, encountering it and turning your "yourfile.tga" that you saved into "yourfile.tga.tga" which will not work correctly. Not saying it's your problem but you should check and see. Keep the file you extracted as a saved 32 bit TGA when saving your edited files. Also make sure you keep the name of the extracted file EXACTLY the same. No new spaces or the like. Those are all the issues that I can think of that could be causing your problem. Hope that helps and good luck DM
