SMoKE Posted July 17, 2005 Posted July 17, 2005 Does anyone know a good tutorial reguarding the .menu-scripting? Also, if there is a .menu-editor or something I'd like to know. Thanks in advance
Wudan Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 Notepad, or some other text-editor, can be used to edit the .menu files. I'm not sure about tutorials though, I think there's one in the SDK (or at least an explanation of the .menu files)
SMoKE Posted July 19, 2005 Author Posted July 19, 2005 Well, what I meant with "editor" was some kind of a program which allowed me to view the menu in a visual-mode or something... Like FrontPage if you're tried that...
razorace Posted July 19, 2005 Posted July 19, 2005 I'm sure there's one of those floating around on the internet. It might be under the Quake sphere of websites since the .menus for JKA are practically the same as the ones in Quake 3.
SMoKE Posted July 20, 2005 Author Posted July 20, 2005 Okay, people, thanks for the help, but I think I know most of the stuff now... I'm making a menu-system for my mod, and here's a picture: http://smokedesigns.thejefffiles.com/forum/images/Menu.jpg
razorace Posted July 20, 2005 Posted July 20, 2005 Neat. So, are you using a program or are you doing it manually?

SMoKE Posted July 21, 2005 Author Posted July 21, 2005 Here's another menu I'm done with http://smokedesigns.thejefffiles.com/forum/images/Menu_2.jpg
