Dagobahn Eagle
Sudoku is a game where you fill in a 9x9 grid with numbers so that each square of 3x3 fields as well as every horizontal and vertical line contains the numbers one trough nine. For example, take this pic' here: http://www.brainbashers.com/gifs/sudoku1.gif Look at the third vertical line from the right (starting, if read from above, with "3 2"). It needs a "one", and looking downwards, we see that there are four places we can fill in a new number. Now, every horizontal line but one has a one (no pun intended:p), so we have to put it in the fourth square from below (by the two fives). The vertical line now contains the letter one. Sudoku is highly addictive and I solve the one coming with my newspaper every single day. It's, to say the least, far more fun and challenging than your average synonym crossword. Now, am I the only swampie hooked on the best thing to come out of Japan since the best friend I had in Houston and the Super Nintendo;)? •-BLaCKouT-•
I think I'm the only person I know who tried it, managed it okay, but subsequentally can't be arsed with it I can see what the attraction is, but I just don't get the buzz myself. Anything that keeps the brain working out is a good thing though B.
Dagobahn Eagle
Just a word of advice: Solve them on paper, using a pencil and an eraser. Don't even think about solving sudoku puzzles with a pen.
