yangyan Posted July 23, 2005 Share Posted July 23, 2005 in sithcouncilv2, in a few of the secret rooms, there are patch meshes or brushs that act as cameras. At first I though the brushs were just windows because it looked so realistic, but then something strange happened. A bot jumped into the room that I was looking at, and apparently, the room was tilted. The first thing that came into my mind was WTF? THE BOT ACCESSED THIS ROOM? Then after a minute of teleporting and examining, I found that the "window" was hovering an inch away from the wall. Conclusion: That is no window. So I realised it must be some sort of texture in sithcouncilv2 that somehow acts as a camera. Ideas? I would have looked in the sithcouncil shader file and found this: textures/camera/camera { qer_editorimage textures/camera/camera surfaceparm playerclip surfaceparm nolightmap portal { map textures/camera/camera blendFunc GL_ONE GL_ONE_MINUS_SRC_ALPHA depthWrite alphaGen portal 2048 } } Is this what im looking for?
