I'm sorry, I have another problem...

Recommended Posts

I'm sorry for taking up all of your times with another question about modding, but unfortunately, I have yet another problem...

The new character I created for my recruitment mod won't seem to activate the dialogue I attatched to him when I go to talk to him.

I wrote up the dialogue using the KOTOR Dialogue Editor v 2.1.5, and attatched it correctly to the character's utc, however when I go up to him, and click on him, he just turns to face me, but doesn't say anything.

I also tested the dialogue out by attatching it to another character, and clicked on them and the dialogue ran perfectly, so it must be a problem with my character itself, but I don't know what it could be. Could anyone please help me? :(

Check that the character has a (working) script assigned in the OnDialogue event script slot. This is the script that initiates the conversation when you click on a creature.

Don't worry, Dark_lord_Cheez. It is OK to have problems and ask questions on these boards. That is what we are here for. :)

But in the future you might want to use a more descriptive thread title so that people will have an idea what you are looking for. You are more likely to attract someone who knows that answer.
