Darkguardian098
I'm trying to make a utility belt that also uses the Handmaiden disguise, but whenever I try to put on robes, armor, etc. It keeps the appearance of her clothes. I don't know how to fix this because if I use a different disguise (like mira) the robes show up, how do I fix this?

The Handmaiden has 3 different appearance types that the game switches between depending on her light/dark alignment and what she is wearing. If you want robes and armor to show you should probably use appearance type 638.
Darkguardian098
Thanks Stoffe. That solved my problem. Now I can't get the clothing to work, and if I try to make another disguise clothing it works until I take it off, it seems to negate the belts disguise, how do I get clothing to work? You'll probably end up having to do some appearance.2da editing and the like to acomplish what you are wanting. I'm not trying to hiijack your thread BUT This thread will most likely help The plugin is good sized but includes a handmaiden head that will allow you to wear a multitude of clothing Also you will need the patch for it as well It takes some time to download so just go do a Google for LeechGet and download the free version. Use that if you have a dialup. You can hang up and dial a week later and resume your download till done Hope that helps General Kenobi

I believe this problem is caused by the fact that the Handmaiden uses 3 different appearance types that the game automatically switches between, as mentioned. 454 - Appearance used when clothes are equipped and not a darksider. 638 - Appearance used when armor, robes, or nothing is equipped. 669 - Appearance used when clothes are equipped and being a darksider. I believe this is due to the fact that the Handmaiden's clothes model is a Full model (ie including the head in the model and not using her "stand-alone" head), while she uses standard body models for armor, robes and underwear with a "detachable" head. Since you set if an appearance is of Full type or of Body type for each whole line in appearance.2da, they couldn't mix models in the same appearance type line, and thus had to use 3 different lines. At least that's my theory for why she's the only party member set up like this. Don't know if there's any way around that besides using two different disguises and being careful to remove one before applying the other.
