Orgophlax Posted August 7, 2005 Share Posted August 7, 2005 I'm not sure where to post this, but since it's technically modding the save games, I figure I'll ask here. OK, so we all know TSL has a lot of bugs in it, and my little brother has unfortunately run into one. He's fighting the Onderon Civil War and has gotten to the point where you have to open the outer door, just before fighting the big monster thing (can't remember the name). Anyway, they bug he has run into is that the quest to open the door states that he has acquired the bypass codes, but the primary terminal is disabled and the secondary one doesn't give the option to use the codes. When selecting to open all security doors, it says that it's been overridden. I've tried using KOTOR Tool and KSE to edit the save file to see if there's a flag or something I can flip to reset the quest, but nothing seems to be working. So can anyone help me? I basically need to know what global varible to change (if there is one) that will basically reset the primary terminal so that he can choose to reroute it's functions to the secondary. Thanks! The_Maker Posted August 7, 2005 Share Posted August 7, 2005 Oh <.< Uhm, the best thing to try is cheat and reload/re-enter the palace module and then of course turn off the "CHEAT USED" with KSE. If that doesn't fix it you can also try using the "whereami" armband made by darth333 which will allow you to open locked doors, and even warp to different areas on the map (I think)... if you do get the door open try starting a dialogue with "Colonel Tobin" and see if that will start the default script for what would normally happen when you open the door. If that doesn't fix it still,wait for one of the superior modders round here liek ChainZ or svosh to tell you which global variable needs to be changed. And one last thing, I know this sounds silly but have you tried exiting then re-entering th palae module? FINAL BOTTOM LINE If absolutley nothing else works I could create a "hack" aka a mod which will have the door unlocked from the begging of the module so you dont hae to go through the whole palace trying to unlock it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
