yohan
~ Hey everyone! Is there a way to edit blaster distances so that you can fire away further then you usually can? In the baseitem.2da can I modify one of the columns so that the range of the blaster is further away? Any help will be greatly appreciated! ~
General Kenobi
You'd also have to take into account if your standing FARRRRRR of from an enemy you can't actually target them because you "technically" can't see them yet. Wouldn't do you much good to be able to target at 500 yards if you could only see them at 75 yards. Don't know if you'd be able to adjust that or not. stoffe
You could edit the values in the maxattackrange and prefattackdist columns in baseitems.2da. However, unless you don't mind cheating and slaughtering helpless opponents I would not set this any higher than 29 meters. The standard creature AI ignores any enemies farther away then 30 meters, meaning they would just stand there doing nothing while you kill them. Grenades currently have a max attack range of 28 meters, which is one of the most distant attacks the standard game allows.
