manoman81
So, I got a notebook computer today and I'm trying to configure it right and stuff. I removed McCaffe (and registry keys) as I have Norton Internet Security, Anti Virus, Firewall, etc. However, the firewall will not let me access internet from any browser unless I turn it off. It will also not let any IMing proggies work. I've been through everything I can think of. Does anybody have any suggestion on how to fix this? I would really not like to leave the firewall off as I have wireless capabilities, although I'm pretty sure I tied those ends up too. Any help would be great. Edit: Ok, I realized the one port was being blocked for the browsers. Now, I just need to figure out why Trillian can't connect at all. None of the ports it uses are listed as being blocked.
