Renee noticed a bunch of girls talking in front the neighboring cabin. Upon closer inspection, one of them appears to be an adult. She walks over to them and introduces herself.

"Hi. My name's Renee. What's yours?"

"hey, there, the name's Rifty. A teacher in training here"

((Squid: Biblical should still be hanging out with Kilifa and Rifty, or near them or something ))

"I have at that." said Renee. "Biblical, right?" She looked up at the sky. "Do you guys ever wish you could fly?"

(I don't know anything about Renee's personality. She does have three scars on her left cheek, so I'm guessing she's been attacked before, so maybe she's a "warrior" type?)

(From the other RPG, she was kind of mean and tough.)

"Duh. I mean, of course I wish I could fly. Do you think we'll learn that, here? I'm not sure what to expect anymore."

Biblical crossed her arms behind her head.

(Mean. Tough. Okay.)

Renee snapped back into reality at Rifty's reply. "Well, whatever. I'm only here to make HER sorry," she scoffed. "What're we doing today, then? As a teacher in training, do you know that kind of information or what?"

Kilifa was taken aback by this girl's abrupt manner.

Whoa. She's a bit random, isn't she? I hope Rifty answers her question though, so we can figure out when to go to the lake.

"Don't mean to sound rude, or nothing," Renee added, turning down the 'tude a little. She acknoledged Sarah with a jerk of her head. "Hey."

Yeah. I don't have any other ideas. I guess we should take Sarah along for information, eh?

"well, i never got any intructions from the Sasha, Oleander, or Milla...so i guess ill let you guys just do what you want...ya know walk around or something" Rifty had wondered why the teachers seemed so busy druing the first few days....

She does know more about it then us, so I guess we should. What about the new girl? Renee?

Biblical snorted loudly. "So, Renee. Know anything about the lake? Heard some stories?"

Kilifa shrugged. Mentally. I don't know. Bit of a wild card.

Renee sniffed. "I know loads. Not that I wanted to but it's all that old hag would talk about on the drive here. Trying to make me crap my pants or somethin'. Supposedly, there's this monster, see. A lungfish. It's butt ugly and kidnaps kids. She went on and on about my brain being sucked right outta my skull by an psycho and then maybe I'd be less of a nuisance. By that time, I tuned her right out." She took a deep breath, well aware that she'd been ranting. "Why'd you ask? You planning something?"

Well, we are slowly fulfilling the requirements of being a comic book. We now have the uncertain "ally" who may or may not turn on us, doesn't really like us but happens to be useful. Mental sigh. I guess we need SOME conflict in life. Let's take her. Any funny stuff and you take the eyes. I'll go for the throat.

Renee eyed Biblical's stiches. "That looks nasty," she said approvingly. Subtract one loser point from the Biblical column.

She didn't really like people, as a general rule, but sometimes people went from the negative to neutral on her judgement scale by being tough, having guts, and not being--ugh--cute. She really didn't like that Kilifa girl. All rainbows and unicorns.

Hmm. She seems to like the fact that you have stiches. Cool fashion statement or what? As for Rifty, I don't know how much to tell her. She IS a teacher, even if she's just in training.

Biblical inhaled sharply.

She wasn't supposed to invite people in front of a teacher. Unless-

"Hey, Rifty. Why don't you come, too? Unless, you know, Oleander wouldn't allow it..."

She rubbed her arm tenderly. Cool again.

Rifty rolled her eyes. "sure, I want to watch over you all anyway, just incase your..planning something...."

Nah. It's s'okay. I just don't know how much we should, er, *confide* in her. The less she knows, the less jeopardy her job is in, y'know? And, well, she is an adult. She has adult thoughts! That must be useful, too.

Renee glanced at Sarah. Biblical was going. She seemed interesting. Kilifa was going to be a pain in the butt, as far as she could tell. It all balanced out to suck but at least it was better than bored. "Yeah. I'll go. This better not be some pansy nature walk."

And apparently, Sarah just invited Renee. We're in this together, Cap'n.

I don't know. Best not think about it.

"Fantastic! I'll be sure to bring refreshments." Kilifa grinned. Play cute, play cute, play cute. "Apples, anyone?"

I said fantastic. Your thought messages sometimes seep into my mind. Neat!

Renee gave her a look a disdain. Fruit. The girl was an absolutel fruitcake.
