"Uh.." and Milla, for once, was at a loss of words.

Sarah, who had been really into getting her backpack packed, finally noticed that there was a honest to goodness counseller outside the other cabin. "Well great. So much for sneaking past the others." She checked her watch. Still a long time to go, so she shoved the backpack under her bunk and walked out.

hrmmm..so thats where the other counselers have been this time.... Rifty thought to herself as she rolled over.

lily: tell me this, was it about pschonauts?

"No, we didn't talk at all. We kinda stood there for a while."

lily: and what happened?

Sarah looked at Milla and Lily conversing, and continued walking along. At one point she noticed a group of kids walking away from a strangely conspicuous bush.

 

With no better idea, she threw a rock at it and continued on her way.

D'Artagnan jumped out by Sarah from the bushes.

 

"Hey, where ya goin'? What's with the rock!?" His shrill voice pierced the night air, drawing attention to himself.

 

"And is that Milla Vodello? The real Milla Vodello? Oh wow!"

 

Going for a diversionary distraction, he ran towards Milla. Or maybe it was just his ADHD acting up.

"What gave you any idea that something happened. Things don't have to happen when a guy and a girl are alone. "

Sarah stared as some boy magically emerged from the strangely conspicuous bush, yelled at her, then ran off towards Milla.

 

And then she had an idea and followed, looking at her watch yet again. A couple more hours, and then the fun would start.

 

She slipped back into her cabin, humming some hyper sounding catchy tune.

D'Artagnan stared at Milla, almost shocked. "Milla and Sasha together? I knew it! I read True Psychic Tales, the gossip column! I knew it so well! Hahahaha!" He ran back in Sarah's direction - his burst of energy would end almost as fast as a squirrel became a roast dinner; the several MDX's he had drank on his way to camp made him as hyper and narcoleptic as a sloth mixed with a cheetah.

Milla looked behind her, her eyes wide.

"Oh. Damn."

Milla turned to Lily and sorta smiled at her.

"Thank you."

D'Artagnan collapsed that very moment on the ground, still running around in mentality. He created a mental projection momentarily, but as he re-awakened, it faded away. He saw it for just a second, shocked.

 

"Whoaaa!" he shouted. His hyperactivity was in no way dented by his 2-second nap.

 

He then set out to fall asleep again.
