Char Ell Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 As I recall everyone said that TSL didn't install an override directory and you would need to create one in order to use mods. However when I installed TSL I also installed the 1.0b patch and the hi-quality music patch right after, before I played the game. After playing the game thru the 1st time I wanted to try some mods out and, to my surprise, discovered my TSL installation already had an override directory with the following three files in it. I suspect it was the music patch that created the directory and put these files in but can anyone confirm? fx_step_splash.MDL w_rockpoisn.MDL v_damagetat.MDL
svösh Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 The 3 files as well as the override dir install with the first patch not the HQ vid and sound. I made a sub folder called dev stuff in override and drop them in so I don't delete them by accident. svösh
Char Ell Posted November 20, 2005 Author Posted November 20, 2005 Thanks svösh! That's what I wanted to know.
TMPhoenix Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 I was wondering... What hi-quality music patch are you talking about? Is this an official patch?
Achilles Posted November 21, 2005 Posted November 21, 2005 Yep, released by LA/OE about 6 weeks ago (???). IMHO, you shouldn't bother with the sister movie patch, but music patch is worth the download.
