ok this may sound dumb but im jus starting to get into modelling but i dnt kno where to put MDLOpsM.pm file. the ReadMe says to put it in this perl directory thingy but im confused can any1 help?

command line usage of perl scripts:

NOTE: you must first copy the MDLOpsM.pm file into your \perl\lib directory

...

From what I know that will be for linux users. If I'm right perl is some sort of programing language just like ms-dos but more more powerful. I saw games made under perl. And that file seems to be the version of mdlops for linux. Executable. Just like a .bat but like I say more powerful. So just ignore that file and leave-it where it is.

You only have to copy the .pm file if you want to run MDLOps from the Perl scripts. In order to do this you must have Activestate Perl installed (and a bunch of additional Perl modules also).

 

If you "just want it to work" then use the mdlops.exe file and forget about the Perl scripts.
