Achilles
I tried using the <FullName> token on an item for KotOR but it didn't work. The token is listed in stringtokens.2da and works as shown in TSL. Am I missing something?
Pavlos
I get that occaisionally, I usually get around it by trying compinations as in, try <Full Name> and then <FullName> again and it seems to work. I like random modding... I don't know why sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't but I definitely have run across it.
Achilles
Well, I tried monkeying around with it, but no dice. Not the end of the world. Thanks for the response.
Mono_Giganto
I've noticed that the tokens are case sensitive, so make sure you've got it copied exactly. Though I'm sure you tried that already. There are at least two dialogues in KotOR that use tokens for the player's name, if I come across them on my playthrough I'll point you to the dialogue file. It may just be that they work in the dialogues for K1 but not items.
Achilles
Yeah, I assumed that they would be case sensitive. If you happen across them, that would be great. TIA. EDIT: Call me impatient, but I decided to just plug the tag into FindRefs. Surprisingly there are a lot more <FullName> references than I would have thought. Anyway, I checked and sure enough the dialogs use the same format. On a whim, I thought I would see if maybe the game just didn't like having the token in the LocalizedName, so I tried plugging it into DescIdentified. Still no dice. Then I thought maybe something in KotOR Tool doesn't translate the <> correctly, so I tried it using GFF Editor. Still no luck. Verdict: I'm either missing something or it's impossible. I'm calling it a day. Thanks again to all that responded.
