Sententia
Is there an easy way (or a mod out there) to remove the physical corruption that accompanies falling to the dark side? I want to be evil, but I don't want to look like I just got some lightning deflected into my face. I don't have any modding experience, so I hope it's not too hard... Thanks in advance to anyone who helps.
RedHawke
I hated the DS transitions as well... Those locked Tutorial Forums above are a wealth of information... TSL: Tutorial for Removing PC/NPC DS Transitions IMHO it isn't too difficult. I hope this helps!
Sententia
Thank you very much, that looks do-able. However, I was hoping to make the change with KotOR 1, not 2. Will it work the same?
RedHawke
Thank you very much, that looks do-able. However, I was hoping to make the change with KotOR 1, not 2. Will it work the same? It should indeed work the same... (It would have helped greatly if you stated which game you wanted to work with in your original post.) Just in heads.2da you need to edit lines 26-55 as indicated in the Tutorial. In portraits.2da you need to edit lines 1-12 and 15-32 as indicated in the Tutorial. Also you won't have as many entries in appearance.2da to edit to get rid of the DS undies... you will only have to edit rows 91-180 as those are the player rows in KotOR I, again as indicated in the Tutorial. Note for appearance.2da you will not have to edit the texlevil cell as it doesn't exist in KotOR, this only exists in TSL. I believe that is the only real difference. Good luck! Sententia
Thanks very much. Sorry I didn't indicate the game, I'll remember that in the future (I'm new at this...). I'll get right to that, it looks easy enough. Thanks again.
RedHawke
^^^^ No worries! Welcome to the Forums! I updated the tutorial with the same instructions that I just gave you at the bottom, so you only need have that one thread open whilst you edit things, and for future readers.
