Year 4 saved game PLEASE!

Hi there,

I believe I am on the brink of completing this great game.

Unfortunatly though just as i started The Edge of the World secton of the game. Basically, the problem is once I saved the game whilst talking to the gatekeeper, the game froze, this meant that each time i start the game, it is frozen - HOW ANNOYING!

 

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE SEND ME A SAVED GAME FROM THE BEGINING OF YEAR 4.

 

IT WOULD BE VERY MUCH APPRECIATED.

Sure, sure .. You can get them at grimfandango.net.

But my question is .. Where do I put them?! In what folder?! Where?!

Furthermore, I have no idea where my own saves end up .. So, I'm all lost.

Just put them in the folder you installed Grim Fandango in.

 

I think the default is "C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Grim"

 

The savegames are all grim##.gsv (possibly with dialog records at grimlog##.htm, which record everything that has been said throughout that game), where ## is the number of the savegame.

 

You might want to be careful you don't overwrite any old ones. You can rename the savegames, just changing the number, and they should still work.
