I bought the MIB DVD at Best Buy the other day, and I went home to put it into the DVD drive on my lap top. Now when I put it in, it tells me that I do not have Macrovision, and that I need to get it. I'm new to DVDs, and I have no idea what to do. Can anybody help me?

Buy a DVD that goes on your TV. I suggest that.

Also get many DVD's. You'll love them. X-Men looks good on a DVD Player.

Only if you have an HD tv, otherwise the image quality of the DVD is ruined by the low res of a standard tv.

Not necessarily. You get a good TV with an S-Video or component video input, you'd be hard pressed to see a major difference, unless you had an HDTV sitting right next to it.

It takes all kinds... The question is, what is 'it'?

That's nice. I don't have a TV DVD player. IT'S ON MY COMPUTER, and I need some help. anybody? please?

How about a DVD starter guide, like what to look for in a disk that is actually compatible?

That's weird. I have no idea why it would say that. Are you using a software decoder, or is there a hardware decoder in there somewhere?

Keyan, speak to me as you would a young child, for I know nothing of DVD's . The DVD drive has a chip where you put the CD it looks to me, so does that mean I have a decoder built in?

And I would get macrovision if i could find it online somewhere to download.

I rented a couple DVDs from Blockbuster the other day and they ran fine.

My mother hates braveheart. She thought he said "you may take our wives but you'll never take our freedom!!!" that was funny.

I have gladiator on dvd. biggrin.gif
