GUNNER Posted February 12, 2001 Author Posted February 12, 2001 Well, Thursday we had the funeral and it was beautiful. It was in Yamhill, Oregon. It was on a little hill and it was snowing. It was cold but the veiw was nice as was the little service. For the first time that I can ever remember I had cousins from 3 diferent Family's in the same room at once. My Sisters and I, my Aunts Boys( Deceased Uncles sons), another Uncles sons and and some other cousins from yet another uncle. I had 5 Cousins (3 family's) represented. It was wonderful. Thank You everyone for the kind words.
Guest chewie's hairbrush Posted February 12, 2001 Posted February 12, 2001 Oh dear. /me feels guilty for not noticing this before. My condolences to you and your family GUNNER. I'm going to the funeral of a old lady who used to live around the corner from me this week. She was a lovely old lady and became quite a friend to me and my wife. We got in to see her in hospital about 2 hours before she died but she didn't know we were there. Her grandson that lived with her was coming round to us for Sunday dinner he turned up when expected, not for dinner but to tell us she died.
