Yavin 4 conversion

Could someone create an english version of Yavin 4 planet for Kotor 1? I know that the creator is doing so but I have no idea when it will be out. So if there is a program to convert the Polish version to English... It would be much appreciated.

Sorry but there is no such program.

 

Though there is a DLG/UTI/UTC Language Converter program that will allow you to convert the dialogue strings to as be seen on the english version of the game they will still be in actual polish.

Well, Using the program redhawke posted, one could in theory extract the conversation strings from the program, then using This Website (first hit on google ), one could then insert the translated conversation text into the program red posted. Then in the end, having an english yavin 4 conversation. Or, one could just go and ask a polish dude

You should open .mod file (they starts with yav_** ?) that is in your modules directory.

I recommend to do this with STOFFE's tool for extracting Rims, bifs, etc.

So extract all .dlg files from modules.

Open them in GFF editor and translate line by line.

Or in DLGeditor.

But for this mission GFF editor is better I think.

Then pack those .dlg back in their .mod files.

So...for those of us without DSL and take 78 hours to get KOTOR editer and the other modding stuff required, could someone do this?

Unfortunately, no we can't... we cannot do this for any sort of release without permission from the creators of the Yavin IV mod, Hulas and company. Sorry...
