Sithman1138
A HP computer. I have a HP pavilion 743c. I hear that you can't upgrade the graphic card. Is this true? I just ran a Warhammer check for my PC and my card won't cut it.
Guest DarthMaulUK
If you can post your system specs. Who told you that you can't upgrade? DMUK
Lord Valenta
you can get a pci video card for that model.. but be shure its not a PCIe (pci express) cause that board doesnt support that. you need a good old pci card. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814150061
Sithman1138
Never mind. But what's a cheap but good card out there. And can I get it from best buy?
rremont
Never mind. But what's a cheap but good card out there. And can I get it from best buy? I only found one card at best buy that your motherboard would support, if it needs a PCI graphics card, but it is 102.99. Best Buy You could also buy a card online, as many times it is cheaper in such an instance. I would recommend a site like newegg.com In fact here is the exact same card, but its only $62 + shipping. PygmyShrew
Problem with HP and Dell home/office machines, they dont want you to upgrade, they want you to buy a new one, so they void your warrenty if you open it, dont allow you to put in new CPUs (we tried at work on a 3ghz pentium 4) its all very naughty Im not even sure if there 'gaming' models let you upgrade.
