I know this'll get moved to the Tech forum but nobody really checks it anymore so I'm going to post here hoping to get a response.

Anyways, I've got a single channel 64KBPS ISDN modem and for those of you that have the same as me, just check something, when you download anything, could you just tell me what the rate of download is (that is the download on it's own with no other downloads or browsers loading up.

Thanx

what u need to get milkshake is a cable modem. they are faster because it comes down an optical line rather than a copper wire line. downloads are really fast and you could even get a 512k modem speed which would make it even faster

JR2000Z i believe u missed the point of my reply. I put it there because me and milkshake should have the same speed modem but mine (and coffeebeans) is cable and is running faster than milkshakes i have been winding him up about it recently and me getting a cable modem was what really started this all off
