Bespin is +1000 ?!?

On the Galactic Map there are 5 buttons next to the ground and space tabs. One is the menu and two of them aren't very useful in the demo but one of them displays each planet's special properties and the other shows how much each planet is worth. Bespin was +1000! The next highest after that was +160.

Im guessing they are doing it based on tibanna gas being so very important.

 

Also Coruscant has a Bonus to credits beyond the +160 what the bonus is we wont know til release

Certainly sounds like a lot but on the demo with just 2 planets on the Empire tutorial I was getting 3000+ a day. Im not entirely sure how it all works nor can any of us be sure if what Bespin offers is really that impressive. To be honest id be more inclined to go for the planets that offer +25% armour or other research abilities

The Empire gets trade routes in addition to planetary income (they mention it in the demo), that could account for some of the extra credits.

Keep in mind that there is no land on Bespin. No land means you can't ever build mining facilities, so it never gets any better than 1000. While the base credits for other planets might be 160 (for example), the mining facilities will raise that base significantly, especially if you build more than one. Of course, if you are taking up slots for mines, you don't have slots for other things like factories...

Instead of mines why cant you build tibanna gas refineries? they have these ion bespin.
