zalcron
does anyone know what the diplomacy will be like in the full game? how do you influence systems to your cause? do u send diplomats (like in rebellion)
zalcron
does anyone know if u can auto resolve battles? i dare say when playing in a massive galaxy with 40 odd planets (does anyone know how many there will be) there will come a time when you wont want to fight every battle yourself, is there an option to resolve them automaticaly? zalcron
Playing the demo i was churning out ships like in a day (blockade runners) am i to asume captial ships will take longer to construct and reflect realism (well as real as a finctional universe can be)
lukeiamyourdad
I've merged all of your threads into one as these questions have been generaly answered already. Now, about your questions: Diplomacy: I'm not sure about this so I'll let somebody else reply. Auto-resolve battles: No. The point of the game is to fight those battles. The management portion has been left to a minimum because of that and frankly it's better this way. Construction speed: Everything has been sped up for the demo. zalcron
thanks that makes it a bit clearer, sorry to ask old questions
MasterJack
The answers to your questions are as follows: (1) There is no diplomacy in the game (empire wants rebels dead, not talk to them) (2) Autoresolve is an option in the game (read this somewhere, not positive) (3) construction times and movement on galactic map were increased for the demo Hope that helps
zalcron
sorry maybe i was not clear, when i meant diplomacy i was referring to non alignened systems, naturally i know the empire and rebels cant open discussions.
MasterJack
There is no diplomacy as far as I know with any of the factions. the non aligned systems will either work with the empire or rebels depending on the planet. There is no way to influence them one way or the other. You can "wipe them out" if they oppose you though.
zalcron
thats kind of disappointing, i would have thought that planets would join the cause based on your conduct, having it predetermined seems a bit narrow.
MasterJack
it kind of goes with the star wars universe. Wookies will aid the rebels while the humans on corascant with aid the empire etc..
