Weiser_Cain
Well I broke my game so I might as well go back to modding. Does anyone know what 'xbox_downsample 256' and 'envmaptexture CM_Bright' mean? I think they reference the size of the texture and more importantly shiny bits on the armor. If the latter it true is there a way, if it's even needed to add this to armors that don't have it? Also does anyone have male and female save games that have all the items in the game in their inventory?
Patriarch
Hey CM_Bright is a shader that is applied to the alphachannel of a texture...You can read svösh's exellent tutorial on alpha channels if you want to know more. KSE333 to add all items to you own games...
Weiser_Cain
Ah, I see. That feature’s easy to miss. Thanks.
Weiser_Cain
OK so everyone hates GOTO (right?). Why not make a new character to take his place? My idea, a melee droid, female gothic spikey. How's this fit into SW? How doe jar jar? And anyway we'll just say it's from beyond the outer rim. I'm mostly done with design (just need a new head). I'm going to need a little help getting it into the game. I was thinking of ripping out everything goto and editing that then replacing his model and swapping out the models. Sound feasible? Jackel
That WIP doesn't look to bad. Going to be a replacement for some of the bad guys heads or one of the masks the pc's can wear? With the droid that you are making when you make it so it can be used in game try using a human model with head attached as the base so then the model well have melee animations (or should anyway). Might be interesting having a droid that can use a sword/lightsaber and droid components.
