I asked:

Is there anyway you can play with a router? Mine cant be disconnected due to the many comps that run off of it. I gget wireless internet. Any one who can answer please do.

A helpful person in my clan told me to:

Foward ports 2900, 27900, 2800, 27910

If that doesnt work add 29920

Thats how to play with a router

The only problem, he forgot to tell me how, so anyone who can tell me please do, not to mention this would help other people.

In order to put forwarding ports in a router, you have to connect to your router 1st. Most routers have an IP of 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 Depending on the brand, it's probably one of these 2. Then you will have to log in. I suggest getting your manual out to find the password for your router. All this stuff is done from a web browser. Just put it's ip in the address line. After you log in, there should be a section for port forwarding and just put the port numbers in accordingly and make sure your computer's IP is added for those ports to be forward too. Any questions...just ask.

These are all teh ports u need to get your router to allow access to. As for doing it, it should tell you how in the router manual. Its hard to help with that as every router is different.

Empire at War port (default is 1234)

3658

3659

3660

6500

27900

28910

GameSpy may also needs the following TCP ports open in order to function properly:

6667 (IRC)

3783 (Voice Chat Port)

27900 (Master Server UDP Heartbeat)

28900 (Master Server List Request)

29900 (GP Connection Manager)

29901 (GP Search Manager)

13139 (Custom UDP Pings)

6515 (Dplay UDP)

6500 (Query Port)

You will also need to open the following port for the game stats to be updated correctly:

29920 (Gamestats Server)
