FunkyDwarf Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 Hey guys Got this game today and really enjoying it, its like rebellion on crack. Just a question, with the sensors that allow you to see enemy ships or detect them in HS before they arrive, is it worth it? I mean the rebellion can detect most of the empires movements anyway and generally the HS trips between systems are short, so kinda pointless or did i miss something? Thanks -G
Necroe Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 they rock, it wont give u enough time to get ur fleet to the world, but soon after the battle starts you'll get a reinforcements have arrived notice!
guyvii Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 also you can see where the rebs are moving ( Im IMP)
Chemmy Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 they rock, it wont give u enough time to get ur fleet to the world, but soon after the battle starts you'll get a reinforcements have arrived notice! Huh? I just tried sending reinforcements to a battle and I never got the reinforcements have arrived message.
modding Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 the long range scanner lifts the FOW in the spacebattle only nothing else
FunkyDwarf Posted February 23, 2006 Author Posted February 23, 2006 ah i see. i think the reinforcements he means is not the ones that you issue yourself but ones that just arrive to help out. thanks!
popcorn2008 Posted February 23, 2006 Posted February 23, 2006 Long Range Scanners are most useful if you are the Empire, because they don't have the bothan spy net aiding them in detection of enemy fleets. I would build them on any planets you could, they are only around 200 credits!
