Jackel
Which part of the tutorial are you having problems with? (also you might want to remove your email address as it is against this forums rules to post them in your posts)
jacen06
ok sorry for my adress.... I don't know where I do a wrong command, I feel to have done exactly what Mav' says but when I try to get my cristal with the cheat consol it doesn't found my crystal i think maybe the error is from my gff editor (kgff) but I'm not sure
Jackel
Quick basic questions: Do you have the crystals file directly in the override folder or a sub folder? (override\my crystal files) Is the uti file name and the other name areas (template resref and tag) all the same? Have you tried remaking the crystal from scratch? Sometimes it just doesn't work first time but then works suddenly when you redo it.
jacen06
Jackel do you know how can I do to create a new crystal without having to create a new lightsaber ? must I modify lightsaber in the game to accept my new crystal ?
Jackel
Unfortunately you will have to modify a current lightsaber to accept your crystal as thats how the game files work. Of course you could create a new saber that works with your crystal but the problem with that is it will not work with the current in game crsytals. KOTOR has all the upgrade properties in the lightsaber uti file and this also tells the game which upgrades the lightsaber can accept. Also if you made a new colour crystal you will have to modify the mdl files a lightsaber with either mdlops replacer function or a hex editor so the mdl points to your colour crsytal. Its a hard way of doing it but, like I said, unfortunately its the way we have to do it.
