earx
Hey all, I've been wanting to mess around with the pc appearances since I think the regular ones look a bit odd. So I've done some testing with a couple of heads: import ascii heads from mdlops 5.0 into 3dsmax with the nwmax tool, moving vertices around and exporting to ascii again, then using the replacer tool and putting the resulting mdl in the override folder. Nothing happens, the vertices are all back in place when I start the game. I know it reads the model from the override folder as I switched names with other heads just to make sure (male heads get female filenames etc). The replacer tool just seems to use the vertex coordinates from the old mdl even though I tagged all the parts I want replaced. Argh! What am I doing wrong? Is the replacer tool only meant for k2 models or something? EDIT: I'm importing and exporting geom only, both in mdlops and nwmax.
oldflash
Make sure that what you have edited is linked to aurorabase.
earx
I tried to re-link them to the aurorabase in 3dsmax and the same thing happens, well doesn't happen, vertices are all back in their original place.

I must ask, what do you have edit (head, eyes, hair)? I ask that because I wasn't able to edit any mesh which is part of aurora flex (not vith this replacement tool anyway).
