dangen77
I'm working on a large mod to add couresant to kotor. I've already completed the skeletons (including modules, doors, waypoints, and triggers) for the mod, and I've added it to the planet selection on the Ebon Hawk. I'm using an area from Manaan as one of the areas in couresant and I want to make the area use the skiyline for taris instead of the water skyline for manaan. I have already located the tga files for the taris skyline, but I don't know how to tell the game to use the taris ones instead of the manaan ones. Is there a .2da file I should be looking for? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
Darth InSidious
No. You'll have to HEX edit the skybox models, or use the renamer tool attached to MDLOps. The textures are LTS_skytwrs0001-5.
dangen77
If I edit the skybox models, will that change them for other planets? In other words, If I hex edit the mannan skybox model to point it at the taris skybox model, won't it show the taris skyline in my mod and when I go to mannan? I only want to change the sky on mannan for my mod (couresant), not when I actually go to mannan.
Darth InSidious
If you hex edit the model to have a unique name, then add it to tbe .lyt with all the other models you intend to use, then no.
dangen77
Cool. Thanks a lot. One other quick question. Any idea where I can find the skybox models? I've found the tga files, but not the mdl files. I looked under models (aurora and aurora extension), but didn't see the mdl or mdx files.
