Nute Gunray Posted June 10, 2001 Posted June 10, 2001 i dunno, a few hundred. my main pilot has thousands of kills. i think in a melee between 3 x-wings and 24 T/Fs (with unlimited waves) for five minutes, I got something around 120 kills.

Admiral Zaarin Posted June 10, 2001 Posted June 10, 2001 I live in Northern Ireland, a place which regularly gets pings of 2.7 seconds on games within the UK. Don't even ask about going transatlantic. I've never managed to get into a game of XWA, let alone kill anything. I did once manage to access an XvT game, but I got kicked to the desktop 3 seconds in.
Guest Rogue15 Posted June 10, 2001 Posted June 10, 2001 i didn't mean just internet kills. i killed more x-wings than anything else, i think around 40-50 so far. i like using a different ship each time i play, i have 10 waves of x-wings with 2 x-wings per wave on veteran skill. The Escort Shuttle is pretty good against them. for fighter though, i like using the TIE Fighter against them.

Shortest skirmish ever (I actually did this): 6 X-wings (Super Ace) vs. 6 TIE Interceptors (Super Ace) Both groups begin, facing each other, in formation, at three klicks. Upon entering firing range, all fighters fire one shot. 6 TIE Interceptors destroyed. Elapsed time: 6 seconds. The AI can't fly unshieled crafts well like an average or lesser skilled pilot.

Guest Redwing Posted June 13, 2001 Posted June 13, 2001 I played XWA Skirmish, two TIE Defenders with Tractor and advanced missles and nine waves (on Veteran) against 4 X-Wings and 4 A-Wings, all on Officer, all with advanced missles and nine waves , X-Wings with chaff and A-Wings with flare....and it took FOREVER. My wingmate died quickly, and I sent a long time just flying in circles blasting down missles until the enemies all ran out. Then I'd vape the X-Wings pretty fast (did more damage to me but were too slow) and spent forever going after the A-Wings (not much damage but TOO FAST!) and it took so long I finally just quit. ;( (I hadn't played XWA in a long time) ------------------ At last we will reveal ourselves to the Jedi. At last we will have revenge.
