Need Help Creating Custom skins, sabers, etc.

i would really appreciate someone guiding/telling/helping me how to make my own skins and meshes, lightsabers, levels, objects, anything of the sort. ive downloaded some levels, skins, and weapons for jedi academy and theyre freakin awesome. theyre completely custom made and awesome. so can someone help me learn how to do these things?
