kbatlf Posted March 22, 2006 Share Posted March 22, 2006 I'd like to host a dedicated server in a VMWorkstation environment (virtual PC). I've tried - and it never appears to regsiter with gamespy - or on a LAN-only game it is not joinable. Is it possible? (the VM host and guest OS are both Windows XPSP2 - no firewall running behind a cable-modem/router). I have a second PC - and on that I can host a game and see it from the other PC - so I know it is possible. I have spare cycles on my main machine - and would like to leave a game running in a VM session - if I can get it working! Thx... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
