GrayJedi Posted April 5, 2006 Share Posted April 5, 2006 When you get a new NPC they usuallly come equpped with a default set of items. For example (Carth=2 blasters), (Juhani=Robe, Lightsaber), (Jolee=Robe, Lightsaber), (HK=Blaster rifle). Does anyone know how to mod these default files to have the NPC's have different items. For example get HK with a different blaster or get Juhani with a purple lightsaber. if you know how to do this within KOTOR Tool please reply. Look in BIF's/Templates.bif/Blueprint, Character Scroll down to the p_blabla.utc files there are 9 of them one for each NPC and their names are pretty self explanitory. These are the base NPC files for when you recruit them, just edit those files invantories/feats/skills/attributes to taste with KT's utc editor, just double click the file and KT should open the file in the utc editor automatically, and save them to your KotOR override.
